Hmmm... They don't like the taste of their own medicine, huh?
Bunch of arrogant, self righteous, pompous jerks.
Nothing has changed, nor will they ever change.

Do U Drive @ 55?
by prophecor inwho among us here, when on the freeway does the standard speed of 55mph.
i'd like to say that i'm a law abiding citizen, however......
it's a wonderful thing that many folks wish to follow the rules of the road but you people who don't keep it rolling with the rest of the crowd at 65-70mph are risking a catastrophe.

I went to a charasmatic church once after leaving the witnesses. The speaker made a comment about something along the lines of notice that the front of your car goes up a little when you go over 55MPH? That's the angels getting off the hood of your car because you are breaking the law.
I never went back after that.
These are the same people who drive 55 in the LEFT lane. -

I always thought that he took some green alligators and long-necked geese,
Some humpty-backed camels, and some chimpanzees,
Some cats and rats and elephants.
But no Unicorns. -

Our lady of the Underpass
by Elsewhere inhttp://www.cnn.com/2005/us/04/20/mary.underpass.ap/index.html.
some see virgin mary in underpass stain.
chicago, illinois (ap) -- a steady stream of the faithful and the curious, many carrying flowers and candles, have flocked to an expressway underpass for a view of a yellow and white stain on a concrete wall that some believe is an image of the virgin mary.. police have patrolled the emergency turnoff area under the kennedy expressway since monday as hundreds of people have walked down to see the image and the growing memorial of flowers and candles that surround it.

Disgusting wasteful behaviour
by Simon in.
what a great world, we are throwing good food away because we are too lazy or dumb and don't value it while millions elsewhere starve to death.. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/4443111.stm.

Food is taken for granted by many people. There are many people in this world that don't know what real hunger is.
I have to give credit to our Parents/Grandparents/Great Grandparents who survived World War 1 and World War 2. Food was rationed back in those days (on both sides of the pond). Supplies of Meat, Sugar, Butter, Oil, Coffee and so many other things were scarse or simply not available. But, they learned to make do with what they had. There was VERY LITTLE waste back then. Too many people are spoiled with the amount and choice of food that is readily available today at practically any time.
Personally, I think it is a sin to waste food, especially when there are many Men, Women, and Children in the world today that will go to bed tonight hungry.
It really makes me sick when I see a "food fight" on TV. It shows such a lack of respect for the rest of the world. Makes people look like little spoiled brats. -

How long is a cotton picking minute?
by Elsewhere in.
sometimes i hear someone say: "hold on just one cotton pick'in minute....".
i'm wondering, is a "cotten picking minute" a "bored" minute that feels like a long time or is it a "busy" minute that seems to fly by?

A cotton picking minute is a lot longer than a New York minute. The pace of life in the South is a lot slower than the big cities up north.

E-Man. You are truly a Gentleman. I appreciate all the hard work you've done on this board. I know it wasn't an easy task. Quite often, I'm sure it was a thankless job as well.
All the best. -

I thought he was a nice Jewish Boy.
But somehow I don't think he sat around the Garden of Eden eating a nice pastrami sandwich (with mustard) and a glass tea.
